Help a Highly Decorated Army Veteran Restore a Safe, Accessible Bathroom

We are raising funds to help a highly decorated United States Army veteran, who served honorably through multiple military conflicts, repair and update a severely deteriorating bathroom in their home. After years of service to our country, this veteran now needs support to make their home safe, functional, and accessible.

The current bathroom is no longer structurally sound. At least two floor joists are failing and beginning to collapse, creating a serious safety hazard. The flooring and walls have sustained damage that can no longer be ignored, and the existing bathtub and fixtures are difficult—and increasingly unsafe—to use.

Why This Matters

A safe bathroom is not a luxury—it’s a necessity. For a veteran who has already sacrificed so much, navigating a hazardous bathroom should not be another daily battle. This renovation will dramatically improve safety, mobility, and quality of life.

Funds Will Be Used For:

Replacement and repair of damaged and failing floor joists

Installation of a new bathroom floor and wall materials

A low- or zero-entry shower/tub to reduce fall risk

A built-in shower bench for stability and comfort

A long, adjustable shower head attachment for accessibility

A new sink and mirror cabinet for daily use and storage

Every dollar raised will go directly toward materials and labor needed to complete this essential renovation.

How You Can Help

If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser is just as valuable. Your support—financial or otherwise—means more than words can express.

This veteran answered the call when it mattered most. Now we’re asking for help to ensure they can live safely and with dignity in their own home.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
