Support a Ukranian Family

Dear Family and Friends,

Global displacement is at an all-time high, with 100 million people displaced around the world due to war, political and economic instability, and the impacts of natural disasters which have forced people to flee their homes.

During this extraordinarily challenging time for the Ukrainian people, we have made the decision to sponsor a newcomer family of three and will assist in providing them a place of safety and security.

In response to their critical needs, some in our local community have ccome together to welcome this family with offers of a prekindergarten educational scholarship for their daughter and an employment opportunity for one of the parents. In-kind and monetery donations are important ways to support this family and we invite you to consider such donations.

With our collective knowledge and passion, we are confident in our ability to provide the support required for this family from Ukraine, but we need your help. Thank you for your consideration of a contribution to the GoFundMe (GFM) page established to help support this family.

All funds received, minus a 2.9% operational fee charged by GFM, will be spent on supporting this family's travel to the US, start-up housing, and living expenses during their transition to indepdence in our community.
