Support a Trans-Femme Friend Recovering After a Violent Assault in Berlin

A dear friend of ours was violently assaulted on a Berlin bus after stepping in to stop a man from attacking a woman. Not only was this violent form of misogyny ignored by most the passengers, tragically our friend was the one who had to pay the price.

After this happened, our friend was taken to the hospital with a broken nose and other injuries. After an emergency procedure to reduce the swelling and to help her breathe, doctors have now confirmed that she will need reconstructive surgery to fully recover.

Beyond the physical pain, she is facing emotional distress and unexpected financial challenges. We are helping her raise funds to cover essential costs in the coming weeks, including:
