I'm a high school math teacher who is going through a divorce and is in between homes at the moment.

I have to stay another week in a hotel with my two children (6 and 8 years old) before we can move into our new home. We already stayed one week at an extended-stay location that I could afford on a single income, but we had a horrible experience. Clogged toilets, no maintenance on the weekends, no tissues, had to pay for replacing towels throughout the week, and they didn't even replenish our toilet paper when we ran out! There were so many things wrong with it, I absolutely HATE the thought of going back, but I honestly can't afford anything else that has a fridge and a stove-top burner. The hotels in my budget only have a mini-fridge and a microwave. I can't live for a week with two children with just that. But the only other place in my area is several hundred dollars over my budget.

I just need a little help to afford to stay in this MUCH better place for the last few nights before my new home is ready. It's been a hard few months going through this divorce and transitioning to a single income, and I am trying to make sure that I don't start off in debt. Any help you can give is truly and deeply appreciated.
