Life can feel like an uphill battle, especially for a single mom with the weight of the world in her shoulders.

My sister Stacy is a loving, dedicated mother who has worked diligently over the past 10 years to improve her life and the lives of her children, overcoming addiction and mental illness. But now, she finds herself in an incredibly difficult situation, facing challenges that require immediate legal assistance.

For the past two years, Stacy has been trying to navigate this on her own, doing everything she can to make it through without asking for help. Stacy gives to others unconditionally in her personal and professional life. She works with her clients to address their substance use and explore what a life in recovery can look like, she volunteers in the community and works to help other women overcome the same struggles she herself has faced. She does this without ever asking for anything in return because she feels so grateful to have a second chance at life. It's not in her nature to ask for help for herself-but the financial strain of retaining an attorney has reached a breaking point. She now finds herself in a position where she can't continue to try and manage this on her own.
