Your help is urgently requested for the expenses of our beloved neighbor family, seeking security after dad was detained by ICE, at a regular Customs and Enforcement check-in. Parents are raising money for our kids’ heartbroken classmates left without income or their father, and with an uncertain future. We want Mom to focus on keeping her family of young children together and safe, so we aim to raise $50,000 for: legal fees ($15k-20k), living expenses ($8k/month), and/or relocation ($5k). The mom has enlisted the help of a lawyer and hopes that her husband will be released so their family can stay together here, where they have put down roots for more than a decade and the children are flourishing. She is also preparing to follow him should he be deported. This involves securing documentation for travel, selling possessions, and moving out of their home. We ask for your help keeping our friends, classmates, and neighbors together and with us.
