Support a Single Mom and Child Starting Anew

Hi, everyone. I’m reaching out to ask for help on behalf of a strong, loving single mom and her young child, who recently made the brave decision to leave a domestic violence situation.

They left with almost nothing — no furniture, no savings, just the courage to walk away in search of safety and a better life. Right now, they’re starting over completely from scratch.

This fundraiser is to help her rebuild — to secure safe housing, basic household items, clothing, childcare, transportation, and therapy to begin healing. She’s doing everything she can to build a safe, stable life for her child, but she needs a community behind her.

The family needs to transition from the shelter that are presently in on or before May 17, 2025. As their time there will be up. The mother has a car, but it is in desperate need of some runs. It runs but is having problems accelerating the check engine light is on and needs to be towed to the car repair shop so that the needed repairs can begin. The mom is currently unemployed due to childcare obtain affordable and reliable childcare.
