National Youth Leadership Training (NYLT) is a leadership development program for youth members of Scouting America, such as Scouts BSA and Venturing members. It is a week-long program that uses interactive presentations, discussions, and outdoor activities to teach essential leadership skills like communication, teamwork, and conflict resolution. Participants learn leadership theory through practical application, gain experience by putting skills into practice in a fun and engaging environment, and can then apply these skills in their home units and other aspects of their lives.
