hey dear friends & folks along the transmission wires;

Beyond any semblance of belief its somehow this girls 42nd birthday coming up on the 8th- after a few months stablizing from eviction at a fulltime cna job while orbiting between a loosely shared studio spot & my non-running van, I'm still struggling to pull together a functioning & registered rig to work-travel in for mobile trans hospice care goals; I almost have $1k saved back up & initially, a few days ago, was going to post this as an ask for help with a last push for a 3k range rig- But instead! this morning I woke up to find the bicycle I've been relying on to get around and to my night shifts at work was stolen from the backyard spot where I've kept it

So, I've decided to take it as cue to switch gears back to focusing on another long haul mode of travel I'd prefer for multiple functionality & access needs, while eyeing a vehicle further down the line: I'm going to focus my funds so far on a surly style cargo ebike from Nomad Cycles that I can both take on extended & offroad trips, as well as open up the range of in-home hospice clients in the area I can reliably make it out to, while continuing to build my hospice care skills in & making more time for connecting into the broader pnw queer death doula circles I want to be more active in!

Thankfully, in the next few weeks the studio space I've been orbiting will open back up so I can fully move in & start paying rent again to stay there for the forseable future, which is a huge part of this ask- unlike my current setup, I'll have a safe 2nd floor spot to lock up the ebike while no longer being so strained over housing stability in a way thats made hashing out a working vehicle to stay in more of an pressing need. I'll be talking with the shop on tuesday to really set things up with the funds I have at the momment, and will have an actual set of images to share on what I'm going for with this, along with a little update around major details

I really needed the all extra support yall rolled out to me when I posted one of these back around my eviction in june, it was a huge part of being able to stabling enough to start working full-time again in august and not high key madness strain or deteriorate under the pressure of the last 6 months; I've put a lot of work into the directions I want to keep moving in since then, and feel this will be a vital current toward further stablizing the larger goals I hashed out then
