As many of you know, I spent years as a firefighter, serving my community in times of crisis. Since retiring from the firehouse, I’ve found a new way to serve: through my passion for cooking. Today, I run my own catering business, but my heart still beats for the brotherhood of first responders and the communities they protect.

Right now, our nation is witnessing devastating wildfires in Los Angeles. Brave firefighters are risking their lives on the front lines, and countless families have been displaced, losing their homes and their sense of security. These are unimaginable tragedies, and I feel called to help in the way I know best—through food.

Starting tomorrow, I’ll be in Los Angeles, volunteering to cook meals for firefighters and displaced families who desperately need a hot meal and a moment of comfort. My goal is to provide nourishment not just for the body but for the soul, reminding them they are not alone in this fight.
