Support a Parent's Fight for Equal Custody

Hello everyone, it's come to this, but I really need your help. I'm trying to save up for a lawyer to request 50/50 for my son. I barely see him, and at the age of 5, he still has yet to stay the night with me. Child support has been milking me dry, taking $1700 a month, and I'm not able to afford a lawyer, let alone my bills. It's getting to the point where I am going back to the Marine Corps for the reserves, but that will take away the time I can spend with him just to pay off these arrears.

If you could share this post and help point me in the right direction, I would be extremely grateful. It's hard for me to ask this of you all, but I will help return the favor somehow, whether it's working on your car, yard work, or anything. I would appreciate it. I just want time with my son. I want to be able to make memories and be able to support him more than what I'm doing now.
