In 2016, I lost my mom to cancer. Before she passed, I gave her a celebration of life party—and the way she lit up that day showed me how powerful love and community can be.

That moment changed everything.

In 2019, through tears and missing her deeply, I heard her voice say, "You’re supposed to be celebrating others." That’s when We Fight Back was born—a mission to honor cancer survivors and warriors in the fight, no matter the cancer, their age, or where they are on their journey.

Every year, we choose survivors to receive a night of joy, pampering, and unconditional love. They’re gifted with hair, makeup, outfits, massages, and more. We don’t just give them a party—we give them their shine back. ✨

In 2026, we’re going BIG.

This Sneaker Ball will celebrate:

10 cancer survivors

10 years since my mom’s passing
