Hello campers,

As our 2025 camping season gets underway, we are doing everything we can to make our “home away from home” a better place. As some of you know our current swing set has surpassed its use of life and is now becoming a safety concern. The last thing we want is for someone to get hurt. Luckily, our gracious friends at Play Pros of Kokomo have offered to repurpose a commercial playground from Brownsburg, IN and install it at Dry Dock Campground. This playground will stand the test of time and will be around for years to come. Unfortunately, the cost of the materials, groundwork, underlayment, and the manpower are not in the budget this year. We have already allocated our funds this year towards the new fence that was done by our own Sean Greer and crew of AAA Fence. We are also doing some foundation repairs that will be underway soon at the bath house. With that being said, we are asking for your help to raise enough money to make this new playground happen for the current, and future, kids of Dry Dock Campground. We know how great this campground can be at raising funds for campers in need. Now, let’s put that graciousness to work for our kiddos. Elizabeth and I are willing to match your donations, out of our pocket, to help make this very generous offer come to life. Below are pictures of the equipment we will be able to get. There will be activities for kids of all ages and even a 12ft tall 6-person swing set that the adults can enjoy as well. We have a estimated project total of 20k.
