Support a Mother's Fight for Justice and Her Children

I’m a mother who dedicated over 12 years of my life to raising my children — biological, adopted, fostered, and bonus — as a stay-at-home mom. My ex-husband and I were sealed in the LDS temple in 2009, promising an eternal family. I’ve definitely made mistakes, but I’ve never stopped trying to grow and show up for my kids ❤️

Summary:

Two years ago, I was hospitalized after a bad reaction to a prescribed medication. My ex-husband took advantage of that vulnerable moment to have me involuntarily admitted and used it as a launching point for a false protective order that shattered my entire life. He has since weaponized the courts to silence me, isolate me, and control our children — all while the legal system has refused to acknowledge the abuse and deception.

I am raising funds to pursue enforcement of my visitation and custody rights, to expose the manipulation that has taken place in court, and to protect my children from ongoing emotional abuse. Your support will help cover court costs, legal filing fees, witnesses, attorney representation, etc. Please contribute and help me give my children their voice and their safety back.

What are we trying to achieve?

My goal is to hold my ex-husband accountable for years of deceit and control, and to compel the court to enforce visitation, reconsider custody, and review the legal errors that have harmed our family. The system failed us — but with the right legal action, I believe we can correct the course and restore what’s been unjustly taken.

How much I am raising and why?

I am seeking to raise at least $800 to start in order to cover two full meetings with an attorney I have found that is ready to help. They are able to use Affirm as well, so small amounts do help! When I need them to represent me in court due to my acute C-PTSD, the retainer may be up to $10,000. I am hoping to negotiate as things come up, as I've been doing a lot of the grunt work behind the scenes. I will need the most help getting everything organized and presented properly.

Without these resources, I cannot access the full range of legal remedies available or adequately defend myself and my children.

Transportation costs (court appearances, visitation pickups): $100–$200/month

Document and evidence preparation (printing, mailing, organizing files for court): $100–$300

Child-related needs when they are with me (basic necessities, emotional support materials): variable
