Minha filha passou mais de um ano detida pela imigração (ICE), longe de seus filhos e de sua família. Durante esse período, as crianças ficaram sob os cuidados do pai e da madrasta.

Recentemente, vieram à tona denúncias graves de maus-tratos contra as crianças. A madrasta chegou a ser presa após acusações de agressão, mas foi liberada enquanto o caso continua em andamento. Apesar disso, o pai ainda mantém a guarda das crianças.

Agora que minha filha foi libertada e está tentando reconstruir sua vida, ela precisa lutar para proteger seus filhos e buscar a guarda deles por meio da Justiça. Para isso, ela necessita contratar um advogado especializado em direito de família, além de continuar enfrentando seu próprio processo imigratório.

Os custos legais são altos e urgentes. Estamos arrecadando fundos para ajudar com honorários advocatícios, taxas judiciais e despesas relacionadas ao processo de imigração e à busca pela guarda das crianças.

My daughter spent over a year in immigration (ICE) detention, separated from her children and family. During that time, the children were in the care of their father and stepmother.

Serious allegations of child abuse have recently come to light. The stepmother was even arrested following accusations of assault but was released while the case remains ongoing. Despite this, the father still retains custody of the children.

Now that my daughter has been released and is trying to rebuild her life, she needs to fight to protect her children and seek custody through the legal system. To do this, she needs to hire a family law attorney, in addition to continuing to handle her own immigration case.

The legal costs are high and urgent. We are raising funds to help cover attorney fees, court costs, and expenses related to the immigration process and the pursuit of child custody.
