Dear friends, family, and kind hearted folks,

My mother recently fell victim to a scam after answering a phone call that she thought was from her bank. This person had lots of information about her that led her to believe she was talking to a legitimate representative from the bank. She answered the call and gave information to pay a credit card bill that was overdue. Hours later she realized she was scammed out of everything in her account, a total of 17,000. After connecting with the police and Chase bank it is likely she will not see that money again.

My parents are the hardest working people I know. They give and give, and never ask for anything. I would love to be able to give something back to them to ease some of the heartache and embarrassment caused by this incident.
