Support a Mother Fighting for Her Sons

I left a domestically abusive marriage I was in for 8 years in January of 2023. I am a single mother of two beautiful boys that I love with my whole heart. I am now in a legal battle trying to divorce my ex and fighting to protect my kids. The legal bills are very hard for me and put a heavy weight on the three of us. This is why I’m hoping for support.

I’ve paid out over $11,000 dollars in the last three years in lawyers fighting to protect my kids. My boys have been through so much. They’ve been hidden from me out of state for a period of 2 weeks, intervened and returned via police; their dad has been arrested, they’ve been neglected, returned in feces, had their heads shaved, been unjustly disciplined for speaking truth to police and myself… and unfortunately much more.

My ex and I had a NCO, but yet still made all court hearings, mediation, plus a second court-assisted mediation to no avail. My ex is demanding access to the kids and wants me to walk away. I cannot in my heart do this to my kids.

There is a large legal retainer due for trial. Trial is in early June 2025. I am seeking any help possible to accumulate this retainer fee and pay to finalize my divorce and protect my kids in court.
