Hi everyone,

I’m organizing this fundraiser for a dear friend of mine Keva Nicholson —an amazing mother of three—who is currently facing one of the toughest challenges of her life. She was recently diagnosed with a rare autoimmune disease called necrotizing myositis, which causes severe muscle damage and makes it extremely painful—and at times impossible—for her to walk.

Because of this condition, she’s been forced to take at least three months off work to focus on treatment, including medications and physical therapy, to begin regaining strength. With no income during this time, the financial pressure of supporting her children, keeping up with bills, and managing medical needs is becoming overwhelming.

She’s a strong woman, but no one should have to go through something like this alone. I’m hoping we can come together and help lighten the load—whether it’s contributing toward groceries, rent, childcare, or just giving her peace of mind during recovery.
