My name is Fatima, and I am asking for help for my mum, Sihame (50), and my two younger siblings : my sister who just turned 18, and my 14-year-old brother.

For the past months, they have been living in Morocco with no stable home, not being able to go to school, moving from one accommodation to another because they have nowhere safe to stay. They all hold legal residency in Italy (“permesso di soggiorno”), but they cannot return because they simply cannot afford the flights, housing, or the basic necessities needed to restart their life safely.

I have been working non-stop here in the UK to support them alone, paying their food, housing, transport, everything. I’ve reached a point where I am in debt, exhausted, and physically struggling.

I recently developed severe back pain from working nonstop, but I kept pushing because they depend on me. Now I simply cannot carry all of this alone anymore.

Why this is urgent?

My mum, Sihame, is currently suffering from a heart condition that’s getting worse because she’s not getting treatment and a serious eye infection. She is in pain, her vision is getting worse, and she urgently needs proper medical treatment, medicine, and stable conditions, something she cannot get while being moved around constantly.

My siblings also need medical checkups ( they suffer from asthma), safe housing, and stability. The constant stress, moving, and financial insecurity are affecting them deeply mentally and physically.

They deserve safety, dignity, and a chance to rebuild their life.

What the funds will be used for?

Your support will help cover:

• Flights back to Italy for my mum and siblings

• Temporary shelter/housing until they can get back on their feet

• Urgent medication and treatment, especially for my mum’s eye condition

• Documents and administrative costs they need to re-establish themselves

• Food, transport, and basic necessities during their first weeks back

•Kids going back to school

I have been doing everything on my own for so long. I am emotionally and physically drained, and my health has started to break down. I still want to keep helping my family, but I can’t do this alone anymore.
