Hi my name is Lara and I’m fundraising a course deposit for my dear friend Sara Motta who is a community leader, survivor, visionary scholar, and staunch voice of racialised women's healing the mother lines. This course deposit will create the possibility for Sara to access mentoring to support her in birthing (m)otherwise as the co-creation of the sanctuary homeplace and autonomous political institute led by survivors of state and intimate violence here in these unceded Awabakal and Worimi lands where we live. I have been privileged to know Sara over the last 10 years and to witness her loving dedication to decolonising and building connection, community, safety and protection (m)otherwise.
