Support a local university's building project
Donation protected
We are a group of students from Austria who are building two pavillons out of rammed earth as their bachelor project. Our client is the Rangjung Yeshe Gomde, international center for Buddhist meditation and studies (https://gomde.eu/en/), as well as the European Capital of Culture 2024. (https://www.salzkammergut-2024.at/en/home/)
Our two pavillons will function as meeting places and will provide space for meditating. The main materials that will be used are locally sourced rammed earth and wood from local companies.
Take a look at the projects here:
TASHI G'FÜ combines differences with sensitivity. In an increasingly networked and globalized world, interculturality is growing more important. A project, which connects Austrian tradition with Tibetan Buddhism and wants to create a meeting place.
NIFTY NOOK is a manifestation of momentum. Inspired by Buddhist concepts of change, reincarnation and the constant flow of time and space, this place will be one of experiencing and exploring - a spatial confrontantion with transience.
The building process began last week - right now we are on site working on the foundations and preparing the rammed earth material.
We need your help in order to finance the building process and the associated costs, such as materials and tools, as well as food and fuel which we need for reaching the site.
Any kind of donation is welcome!
