M has come to Rochester looking for connection with the LGBTQ+ community and the freedom to live his most authentic life after his family in India has essentially disowned him following his coming out as gay. In the process of finding community here, he crossed paths with several people who saw the opportunity to take advantage of his vulnerable situation and manipulated him. He has experienced sexual assault and abusive relationships, deterioration of health due to stress and instability, and lost almost everything he previously had working in a corporate job.

M has remained resilient through the repeated crises and is now trying to get his life back together as he awaits the immigration process to be able to work in the States again. He was able to escape a violent, unsafe housing situation and currently has a temporary safe place to stay. However, with no way to legally work, he has run out of money and options. Please consider donating to support M so he can secure more permanent housing, buy his own food to meet his dietary restrictions, and have the stability to find the community he came here for.
