Support a kind grandfather vet in his time of need.

My father (72) had his tool van stolen on Friday while trying to enjoy lunch at Bobby Burns in Hyannis. They recovered it in Lowell, but we still don't know the extent of the situation, and he doesn't have insurance on any items missing, unfortunately. He has a lot of expensive tools he has collected over his lifetime, and this is his livelihood.

He has to pay for the replacement of keys, since he had everything attached, as well as towing fees and whatever it will cost storing it over the weekend. This breaks my heart, and he doesn't deserve to go through this. He is the kindest man I know who treats everyone he meets with respect. He has always taken care of his family and does everything in his power to do the right thing. He even visits his ex-wife in the nursing home, as well as helps me and his grandkids.

I'm asking for help to show him people care because he is not the type to ask for help. He is a strong man who served our country, and I want to do everything I can to help him. He has helped me so much, and I wish I had the funds to help. Please look into your heart to help him. I never thought this would happen to him . He deserves so much more.

Update on insurance: he is covered after 2500 and his tools he collected over his lifetime he obviously doesn't have receipts. I'm asking for help on the keys he had to replace as well as the tow. Unfortunately it looks like a loss so I plead for the publics help in supporting my father.
