This year has been a year of transformation for me. By God’s grace, I’ve reached 250 days sober, broken free from old habits that held me back, and learned how to live with more purpose and discipline. I’ve been investing in my health, my faith, and my future, and for the first time in a long time, I feel like I’m truly walking in the freedom God has for me.

Now, I have the opportunity to take another step, which is serving others.

On September 24th, I’ll be traveling to Cape Town, South Africa, with my church family to partner with the Quiver Foundation. They are building a rehab facility and running outreach programs in the streets, helping people caught in addiction and homelessness find hope and restoration. The statistics are 95% of Cape Town’s homeless community struggles with addiction, but Quiver is stepping in with a practical, faith-driven solution.

For me, this isn’t just a trip. It’s a chance to give back what God has given me: freedom, healing, and a new start. I know what it feels like to be trapped, and I know the joy of being set free. That’s why this mission means so much to me personally.
