Help us make a home for Finding Hope

Donation protected
Do you know someone who has struggled with addiction? Then this is for you…this is for them…this is for all of us! Finding Hope is trying to buy my parents home to renovate into a group home for recovering addicts. The county where my parents home is located, have made this increasingly difficult. There has been one reason after another of why it couldn’t or wouldn’t work out. However, we now have a written agreement stating that the last and final hurdle will be installing fire sprinklers in the home. We need your help! These sprinkler bids are coming in as high as almost $70,000! My parents can’t afford that, but we owe it to every person who will one day be blessed to recover from their darkest afflictions in this home-to try to raise the money anyway.

My parents raised 23 children. 11 via the womb and 12 via adoption, that doesn’t even begin to include the over 50 that came to our home temporarily as foster children. Some of my siblings have struggled with addiction themselves and I have seen how it can tear through a person and their families. This home has ten bedrooms and seven bathrooms. It sits on over three acres of land, and would be the perfect place to find solitude, God, and rescue. When I tell you there is no better home for Finding Hope to turn into a place of refuge, I mean it.

A quick google search will tell you that about 287 people die every day in the United States due to drug overdose. What if we could stop it? What if we could help every person to feel hope, love, and like they matter enough to recover?

Help us make this vision a reality by donating even just one dollar and spreading the word. Or if you know someone who would be willing to donate their labor to install the sprinklers in the northern Utah area, please send them our way! With your help, we can do this. With your help, we can save your brother, sister, friend, parent, child…But it will take all of us, because giving them a home is just the beginning.
