Support a Hero: Electric Scooter for Cat Caretaker

Donation protected
For years, one man has done what most won’t — now he needs our help to keep going.

In our neighborhood, an elderly man has been quietly caring for several colonies of feral cats. Every day, he hauls a wagon full of food and water by hand to feed cats that have no one else looking out for them.

He’s not part of any rescue. He’s not getting donations. He just saw a need and answered it—with nothing but his own time, compassion, and money.

He lives on Social Security, but has spent hundreds—sometimes thousands—of dollars over the years for:

  • Food and clean water
  • Veterinary care for injured or sick cats
  • Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts
  • Flea treatment and basic medical supplies

But Now, His Health Is Failing

In the past year, he’s suffered spine surgery, a heart attack, chronic back pain/nerve issues and trouble walking and lifting....but still, he keeps trying to help the cats.

Despite all of this, he continues pulling that wagon across parks and sidewalks—putting his own health at risk just to make sure the cats are fed.

How You Can Help

We’re raising $2,600 to buy him a heavy-duty, electric all-terrain mobility scooter that will allow him to:

  • Pull his wagon full of supplies
  • Safely reach each colony
  • Avoid further injury or strain
  • Maintain his independence
  • Continue doing the work he loves—and that these animals rely on

Any extra funds raised will help cover the ongoing cost of food, vet bills, and medical supplies for the cats.

Let’s Show Up for Him Like He’s Shown Up for Them

This is more than a story about stray cats. It’s about someone who has quietly made the world a better place—with no recognition, no help, and no expectations.

Now it’s our turn to support him. Let’s give him the freedom to keep going, safely and with dignity.

Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and compassion.
