We have a close friend who is currently fighting a messy and exhausting post-divorce situation. She has poured every resource she has into protecting herself and her children from a mentally unstable, narcissistic, violent ex-husband. Despite her best efforts, the legal system has forced her to keep returning to court, and the emotional and financial toll has been overwhelming. She has a Personal Protection Order in place and was granted an emergency CPL because of the ongoing threats and violence. Even though she has a stable career, the relentless legal battles have quickly drained her savings. I have close, personal knowledge of her situation and am organizing this fundraiser without her knowledge, to protect her privacy and safety.

All donations will go directly to her to help with her legal fees as she continues to fight for her and her children's safety. The costs of attorneys, court filings, and ongoing protection are mounting, and she is running out of options. She is a proud person who would never ask for help herself, but the reality is that she needs support now more than ever.
