A Beloved Husband, Father, and Grandpa – Taken Too Soon
In the early hours of March 27th, 2025, at 4 AM, our beloved Father-in-Law, Husband, and Grandpa took his final breath after a courageous battle with Stage 4 lung cancer. His passing was sudden, and though we knew time was short, nothing could have prepared us for the heartbreak of losing him.
My name is Viktor Shevchenko, and I’m reaching out with a heavy heart to ask for your support during this incredibly difficult time. We are trying to raise funds to cover the costs of his funeral, which will take place on Monday, March 31st, in Missouri.
He was a kind and deeply loving man who devoted his life to his family. He wasn’t a Christian during most of his life, but in his final days, he found peace — forgiving others, seeking forgiveness, and repenting before he passed. His last moments were filled with love and reconciliation.
His wife, my mother-in-law, and his daughter (my wife's two sisters) are now left with not only the weight of grief but also the sudden burden of needing to move and find a more affordable place to live. His absence has left a painful void — emotionally and financially.
We humbly ask for any support you can offer. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward the funeral and helping his wife and daughter get back on their feet during this dark time.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for reading and for any help you can give. Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers.
