Help Us Grow a Garden for Little Eagles Learning Center!
We’re students from the University Colloquium class at Florida Gulf Coast University, and we’re raising funds to build a food garden for the children at Little Eagles Learning Center.
Our goal is to raise enough funds to build this garden from the ground up, turning an empty space into a vibrant, interactive learning environment where kids can explore nature, nutrition, and sustainability. In a world where children spend more time on screens than outdoors, this garden will give them a chance to explore, play, and grow in a natural setting.
Research shows that time in nature improves memory, focus, mood, and overall well-being. With your help, we can create a space that fosters learning, health, and joy for these young minds. Funds raised will go toward soil, seeds, tools/materials, raised beds, and a kid-friendly educational environment.
The food garden at Little Eagles will serve as a living classroom, a place where children can engage in hands-on learning, discover where food comes from, and gain a deeper appreciation for the environment. It will encourage curiosity, responsibility, and creativity, while also promoting wellness and resilience in a safe, nurturing space.
Every donation helps bring this project to life, thank you for supporting our mission to plant the seeds of a brighter, greener future!
