My heart is heavy as I write this. Hurricane Melisa has completely destroyed my family’s home in Jamaica. What was once a place filled with love, laughter, and memories is now nothing but rubble and broken pieces.
In just one terrible night, everything we worked so hard for was gone. The storm tore through our community, leaving many — including my family — homeless. The walls that sheltered us from the rain, the roof that kept us safe, and the things that carried our memories… all washed away.
We are grateful to still be alive, but now we are starting from nothing. My family is struggling to find shelter, food, and clothing while trying to hold on to hope. It’s heartbreaking to see my loved ones with no place to sleep and no comfort to return to.
I’m reaching out with humility and hope — asking for your help to rebuild our home and our lives. Every single donation, no matter the size, will make a difference. Your kindness will help us find stability, rebuild what we lost, and remind us that we are not alone in this.
If you can’t donate, please share our story. Every share brings us closer to hope, to safety, and to a fresh start.
From the bottom of my heart — thank you for your compassion, your prayers, and your love.
Together, we can rebuild — one brick, one blessing, one act of kindness at a time.
