Salamualikom everyone

There is a family that just arrived from Egypt with an infant and a 6 years old.

They are here on immigration visa so they are legal but they do lack all resources and money. If anyone has or knows of a one bedroom apartment for them as a start please let me know. I am also not very familiar with any resources or ways to financially raise money to support them with their first month rent, food, or expenses. The mother and kids spent their first night in the mosque and the father slept in the street next to the mosque !!

Alhamdlellah we were able to put them in an extended stay hotel for 10 days but I am afraid we won’t be able to do a lot more- please reach out to me if you are able to help, support or advise me. All they had coming from Egypt is their tickets and $200.

I am thinking this is a start to get them on their feet while the father gets a job. I know times are tough on everyone, every little bit would help.
