Support a Family's Fresh Start After Sobriety

A lot of you may or may not know my history since 2019. I was in a very dark place, and chose alcohol to fight the demons of anxiety and PTSD due to a very abusive marriage. I made some pretty terrible decisions, and ended up losing my kids. I did not see them for almost 3 years. By the grace of God, I have now been sober for over 3 years. I just celebrated my sobriety birthday on April 25th!! After a long hard battle, I finally got my kids back, and then God answered my prayers, and now have full custody!

Work has been terribly slow, and I just started a new job this week. With losing all my money to lawyers and court fees, I am struggling tremendously to pay bills, keep gas in my car, and pay for our home that I worked so hard to get so my kids had a safe place to come to. I have a great job now, but I’m behind on everything, and now with school starting, it just another expense. Unfortunately, I don’t know when I will start receiving child support, since we are not done with court proceedings as of now. If anyone out there is willing to donate any amount, it would be greatly appreciated!! I just need a little boost to get me back on my feet, and take care of my kiddos. This is a very difficult thing for me to do, because I am so independent and I hate having to ask for help. I know people out there are struggling to make ends meet as well, and may be worse off than me, but I was told to try this to see if it would help.
