This holiday season, a few of us at RHNS are coming together to organize this GoFundMe so that our community can support someone who gives so much to our children every single day.

Meet Carlos.

Carlos and his family arrived in the United States as refugees from Venezuela, seeking safety, stability, and the chance to build a better life for their two young sons. Many of you may know Carlos as the quiet, hardworking presence who keeps both First Step and Upper School running smoothly. He works full-time as our housekeeper and picks up every additional job he can—alongside his wife—to help their family make ends meet. Their dedication is unwavering, even in the most difficult years.

This year has been especially challenging for them. Despite their constant effort and long hours, they simply do not have the means to give their boys the warm, joyful holiday every child deserves. And that’s where we hope our community can step in.

Carlos and his wife are raising two wonderful boys, Carlos (age 14) and Jose (age 12) who love all things soccer. Our goal is to come together as a school family to help them experience a holiday filled with comfort, joy, and the simple magic that means so much to children.
