this year's been mad rough for our family. i went to jail because of my abusive grandfather and since then me, my mom, and our dog have been homeless. today is the last day for us to be at the place we're at currently. we have no money, no transportation, and no way to get money as all of our personal documents are left at our previous residence. since 2021 my grandfather has been verbally abusve to me and my mother. he's called me homophobic slurs, called my mom a next tuesday, and has said the he "wishes she were dead." our lives have been completely changed because of his abuse. we've had to move a small refrigerator in my closet because we were scared that he would mess with our food, we quit using the kitchen entirely because of him, and we had to start going to a laundrymat to clean our clothes. at the same time he quit leaving the house, completely abandoning all forms of self care, and has used his neglect as a weapon. additionally since 2022 we have been caring for a blind squirrel that our cat saved after it fell out of a tree. we've had this squirrel since it was a baby. we bottle fed him, took him out constantly, let him play constantly, and he was all around a very happy squirrel. since we've vacated we haven't been able to retreive him because my grandfather denied her entry 5 times in a row. this is illegal. this past week she went back in hopes to finally retreive him. unfortunately we learned that he "called the wildlife commission and they set him free." they let a blind squirrel with no experience outdoors run free. we would use this money to get ourselves an hotel room until my court date. then when that's taken care of we plan to move to west virginia with my uncle. even if you can't donate i apreciate you reading this far and would apreciate if you could share it. thank you
