A mom and her two children are newly homeless, frightened & confused. They are sleeping outside on benches, thank goodness it's warm out! She spent all her savings on hotel stays to keep her kids safe, but the money she thought would tide them over until a new home situation is found is gone. Her phone is now disconnected, and she has no transportation. Despite speaking with multiple social workers, she doesn’t qualify for emergency housing due to her meagre income—barely enough to survive, yet too much to receive help.
