Hey everyone, I’m a disabled veteran with a wife and four beautiful daughters and a small business owner.

On January 4, I was diagnosed with transverse myelitis, which rendered me paralyzed from my chest down. Initially, it was very scary because of the prognosis that I may not be able to walk again, but after a second opinion from a second neurologist, I was reassured that I would be able to recover to some extent.

I don’t know what the future holds physically, financially, or mentally. Being in the hospital over the last 16 days, I haven’t been able to make an income from my business. Fortunately, all my bills are paid and caught up, but it’s scary not knowing what lies ahead.

To be honest, I don’t even know if I’ll need any money or how much money I’ll need to assist me in the future, but thinking about my wife and family and what this could do to us made me want to start this GoFundMe to acquire any help that’s possible.
