Help Emmanuel Kenga: Support a Detained Community Hero
Emmanuel Kenga is a dedicated member of the Lynn community and a true humanitarian. Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Emmanuel fled his home country after his family was attacked and his father was tragically murdered. He came to the U.S. seeking safety and a chance to rebuild his life.
In Lynn, Emmanuel has devoted his time to helping others:
Working as a home health aide for senior citizens
Delivering groceries to families in need
Participating in multiple community organizations, always serving those who need help
On September 10, 2025, Emmanuel was detained by ICE after attending his scheduled asylum appointment in Burlington. This sudden detention has separated him from his community, his work, and the people who rely on him.
We are raising funds to support Emmanuel while he is detained, including:
Legal fees to fight for his release and asylum
Basic living expenses for him and his family
Emergency support for his immediate needs
Every donation, no matter the size, makes a difference. Your support will help Emmanuel continue his fight for freedom and justice.
Please share this campaign widely. Together, we can show Emmanuel that his community stands with him.
