Hi everyone!

My name is Sarah Espinoza. I've lived in little Las Vegas, New Mexico my whole life. The OG Las Vegas! I hold a Bachelor of Fine Art from New Mexico Highlands University and am currently pursuing a double Master of Arts in Art Therapy and Counseling. So as you can see, I believe in the value and importance of having art in our lives and in our communities. At this stage in my journey, I'm excited to share a dream with you that has been growing in my heart for some time now: A Space To Create. A Space To Create will be a space that is open to anyone in the Las Vegas community to come make art!

The Goal:

My goal is simple; to create a space where anyone in the community can come make art for free once a month. I'm asking for your help to cover the cost of art materials. After reaching out to multiple organizations, I've been unable to receive funding for this project. So as of right now I'll be funding this endeavor on my own. Every dollar helps and every share helps spread the word!

Why It Matters:

I feel we are in a time where a lot of us feel divided, forgotten, and a lack of hope in our community, especially after the many devastating events we have endured and continue to endure. Creative expression can be so powerful. I'd like to create a safe space where our voices, stories, and dreams can be expressed and explored in their own way, while fostering unity, resilience, inspiration, and creativity in our community...and simply just to create something fun for us to do!
