Support a Black Woman Maintaining the Movement
Donation protected
My name is Breanne Greaves, also known as Regine Shabazz. I’m a organizer in the Black Lives Matter movement. I am a lead organizer with an unnamed collective of activists in NYC, and I have helped coordinate and lead the Black Womxn's March for last 140 days.
I have relocated my organizing efforts to Atlanta and I am working to solidify the BLM movement here in Georgia.
While I have been here in Atlanta, I have noticed areas where the movement needs growth.
To start, there is a large unhoused community in my area where I am residing, and I will be creating care packages for them that will provide them with essential goods. This includes dental care, socks, cleansing wipes, snacks, face masks etc. These efforts will also include community clean-ups. We take care of our communities!
We will also be making sure we will be using as many Black-owned vendors and brands as possible to assure the circulation of the black dollar.
As I am establishing myself in Atlanta, all proceeds will go towards helping me organize in this city and surrounding areas. I will be holding meetings with Atlanta organizers and attorneys who can help keep us abreast to sustain the movement.
As I am currently working with some of the best Georgia-based attorneys, we will be sharing knowledge with our brothers and sisters who are engaging in this movement. We will be holding political education workshops to inform ourselves of the policies that effect us and to hold conversation on the issues that affect our communities whether at home or nationally.
Every donation will help keep our efforts alive. This is a movement, not a moment. This is a revolution.
Thank you so much for your support,
Regine
