Hi everyone
I’m Ife (aka muva) and I’m raising funds to support myself and my baby, miss athea.
Following a tough past few years, in which I experienced sexual trauma, the diagnosis of a long term mental health condition as well as stepping away from home due to clashes with my identity and familial values, I have struggled to maintain stable finances to support myself and my cat.
I was able to work for the last year to help stay afloat but my recent unemployment has thrown me back into a difficult financial position wherein I have to pinch support here and there to provide the essentials for myself and athea.
We are lucky to be settled in with a squatting community that cares for our housing rights and comfortability. This change however has led to the loss of essential trauma therapy causing spikes in my cptsd and depression, essentially elongating the process of finding new work to help me access a stable livelihood.
I’m reaching out to my community to ask for help in whatever way you might be able to - whether that’s donating or sharing. Funds raised will go straight to getting me out of a tricky overdraft debt as well as helping provide weekly living essentials. I would greatly appreciate your help in this time of need and hope I will be equally able to touch and support you as I work to provide for myself and heal.
