Hey there everyone my name is Ash but this fundraiser is not for me.

My amazing friend Coral is in need of some BIG support right now.  Coral has gone through the heart-breaking experience of loosing her son far too soon. 

Coral is a beloved sister of mine. While we share absolutely no genetics with one another, we share a deep and beloved bond. Motherhood had always been a potential dream. It became a reality for her during an unprecedented time. A global pandemic. She made choices many of us can not even fathom considering and took the steps to prepare for motherhood - from moving to safer and more secure housing, to finding and building community that was ready to support them both. Coral shifted her entire life in preparation for this new beautiful human to be a part of it. 

Unfortunately the time she got to spend with her son was far too little. Bear Exodus Rosen Weber was born in early July. His birth held challenges and he spent his days on Earth in an NICU unit. Coral was there as often and for as long as she could be once she was released from her own postpartum care.  She was informed on Wednesday July 14th in the evening that this was not the timeline for Bear. He will be removed from the medical machines on Friday July 16th. The world was not ready for Bear and Bear is not able to stay with us. 

We fundraise now to help cover the medical bills and expenses that came from having a little one in the NICU and for the time that Coral devoted to her son. 

This fundraiser has the following goals:

• Contribute the mounting medical bills for the delivery of Bear, postpartum care for Coral, and the specialized care Bear received in the NICU.
• Contribute to the expenses of final care and services for Bear.
• Enable Coral to purchase a vehicle to allow her best support herself and to ready for the transition her life will take on now.
• Support Coral with highly nutritious food, therapeutic care, and services in her postpartum state
• Allow Coral to step forward in her life while processing and working through the trauma and grief of loosing one too early.

Every donation helps support a woman living through heartache and grieving of her young son.

Every share increases the support and resources that can reach Coral and honors the memory of Bear.
