Support Carmen's fight against ALS

My name is Evelin, I never imagined that I would be creating a Gofundme page. My mom was diagnosed with ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) or Lou Gehrig's Disease. ALS is progressive neurodegenerative disease. It leads to progressive muscle weakness, eventually paralyzing the body and impacting various body functions like breathing, swallowing and speech.

My mom has been fighting this disease for a few years now. Unfortunately, it has progressed and has gotten worse. My mom now has very minimal mobility, her speech is gone, she doesn't have the ability to eat on her own and is now connected to a ventilator.

I want to ask to please keep my mom in your prayers. I know the power of prayer and how much it helps, how much it can heal, and how much comfort it brings. I also want to ask that if you are able to donate, even the smallest amount, we will greatly appreciate it.

All the funds that get raised will go directly to cover any medical, personal things my mom may need to help her be as comfortable as possible. Unfortunately and with so much heartache, we have also started planning ahead so this will also go towards services when needed.
