Hi, I am Audra Leadbetter.

For my Eagle Scout project, I am working to improve the American Legion Post 457, which serves as the charter organization for my scout troop and is a vital part of our community. This project is especially meaningful to me because I have many veterans in my life, and I want to honor their service by giving back to a place that supports them and so many others.

The project will include several important updates to the building and its grounds. I will be adding a new flag pole, installing lights to enhance visibility and safety, and creating monuments to honor each branch of the military. These improvements will help make the American Legion Post 457 a more welcoming and respectful space for veterans, their families, and everyone who visits.

I am grateful to have the help of fellow scouts and members of my JROTC detachment, who will be working alongside me to bring this vision to life. All funds raised will go directly toward materials and supplies needed for these upgrades. With your support, we can show our appreciation for those who have served our country and ensure that Post 457 remains a proud symbol of our community’s gratitude.
