Support 9Mi Bite-2-Go: Our Kids, Our Community

Dear friends, neighbors, and caring community members,

We are reaching out to you to support Nine Mile’s Bite-2-Go, a vital program that impacts the lives of about 125 kids in our Nine Mile School District throughout the school year. Every weekend, Bite-2-Go provides these children with bags of supplemental food, ensuring they have access to nutritious meals when they need them most.

Supported by Suncrest Worship at Lakeside High School, Lakeside Middle School, and Lake Spokane Elementary, along with Nine Mile Community Church at Nine Mile Elementary, our mission is simple: to fill the gaps for students and families in our community.

In addition to the weekend food bags, Bite-2-Go also supplies winter gloves, granola bars for every classroom, and after-school programs. When the school district encounters needs for coats, shoes, or other essentials, our program often steps in to provide crucial support.

During the summer, we expand our reach through our Summer Breakaway program, serving over 250 elementary-aged kids and distributing 50 Bite 2 Go bags each week to support families in need.

The total budget to sustain this essential program is approximately $45,000 annually, and we are proud to say that 100% of all donations go directly to funding our efforts.
