I’m sharing Pam’s story because after a lifetime spent caring for everyone around her, she deserves support, kindness and a chance to breathe.

Pam is 78 years old and carries an incredible amount of responsibility every single day. She is the primary carer for her bedridden daughter, who lives with severe illnesses, while also raising and caring for her 12-year-old grandson, who has autism and developmental challenges.

Most people would struggle to manage even a fraction of what Pam faces daily, yet she continues to give everything she has to the people she loves without complaint.

Even while dealing with financial hardship and her own ongoing health issues, Pam still finds ways to help others in need. She has opened her home and her heart to people doing it tough, offering support, guidance and compassion to those who have nowhere else to turn. Time and time again, she puts the wellbeing of others ahead of herself.

What makes Pam so special is her humility. She never asks for help, never focuses on her own struggles and never stops trying to make life better for the people around her.

But the reality is that the emotional, physical and financial pressure she carries is enormous.

I would truly love to see Pam experience some comfort and relief after dedicating her entire life to caring for others. She deserves the chance to feel supported for once, instead of carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders alone.

Funds raised will help ease the financial burden of everyday living expenses, medical-related costs, household needs and ongoing care for her family, allowing Pam to focus less on surviving and more on her own wellbeing and happiness.

All funds raised will be withdrawn directly by Pam and used to support her household and the care of her daughter and grandson.
