Support 4 BLM Phx Metro Activist & Single Mom

On Wednesday, Sept. 15th, Keisha (she/they) and her 13 year old son were driving home when they were blindsided by a woman pulling out of a parking lot and into oncoming traffic when she slammed into Keisha's car. The woman hit them so hard that it pushed them into a bus as you can see pictured in the photo. Both airbags deployed and the vehicle was completely damaged and no longer drivable. Keisha and her son both went to the hospital that night with some pretty severe whiplash and abdominal injuries from the impact of the airbags. Physically they are both doing ok, just recovering and taking it slow, but no longer have transportation. Keisha also recently became the legal guardian of her 1 year old nephew so having transportation is a necessity.

Keisha is a compassionate and dedicated core organizer in BLM Phx Metro. They need a car to continue supporting community in their work, and to support themselves and their children.
