Between 2022 and 2024, the Agyemang family tragically lost 6 loved ones to genetic medical conditions. Four brothers and two sisters—beloved parents, caregivers, and pillars of their community—have passed away, leaving behind 27 children who now face an uncertain future.
As you can imagine, this loss has left a profound impact on the family. The children, ranging from 8 to 19 years of age, are now left to cope with not only the heartbreak of losing their parents but also the very real challenges of medical bills, funeral costs, and the expenses required to continue their education and care. Their care will be supplied by 3 remaining siblings and widows who must parent all 27 children. This is where we need your help.
The Financial Need:
The financial burden for 27 children in the wake of such a loss is immense. We are raising funds to cover some of this burden. Every contribution, no matter how small, will directly go toward alleviating the financial hardship these children are facing. Your generosity will provide:
- Medical expenses: The 3 remaining siblings of the deceased are dealing with similar health issues and require preventive medical care.
- Funeral costs: The funeral and burial expenses for the six family members are overwhelming.
- Educational expenses: With so many children affected, the funds will help ensure that they can continue their education without disruption.
- Day-to-day living: We also need support for their housing, food, and other basic needs, as their caretakers work tirelessly to ensure the children are cared for and supported.
