Support 101 Social: Help Us Keep Feeding Our Community

Every Sunday, 101 Social serves fresh, homemade meals, bread, cakes, and drinks – all crafted from surplus ingredients kindly donated by local organisations, traders and residents. The soup kitchen is a place for anyone to enjoy a hot meal, whether they choose to eat in or take it away.

However, to offer takeaways, they need to provide containers, and with recent donations declining, they're facing a challenge. They’re seeking support to purchase enough containers to get them through the rest of the year, as well as bowls, mugs & glasses to host those that dine in.

101 Social feeds hundreds of people each month, thanks to the generosity of the community! The soup kitchen is fully funded by local donations, both in products and time from a growing group of residents who believe in supporting one another.

With £298.62, we can buy the following:

600 cardboard food containers (£69.80)

500 cardboard soup container lids (£46.80)

24 enamel soup bowls (£51.96)

72 polycarbonate glasses l(£115.90)

24 enamel mugs (£14.16)

We need these to continue this service and as winter approaches, even more people will be relying on a warm, nutritious meal from 101.
