We have calculated that there should be a minimum of 320 Emergency Bleed Kits on London’s Streets

This would enable us to put 10 on every Borough's major high streets.

When we started 2ndChance, the initial push was funded by us personally. We believed in the idea, we knew it could make a difference, and we wanted to get it moving.

But the truth is, we don't have unlimited funds.

We've already managed to get 35 emergency bleed kits out into the community, and now we want to take the next step and move towards our target.

Each kit costs just £25, including the kit itself and getting it delivered where it is needed.

That means our initial target is £500.

£25 might not sound like a lot, but what that £25 puts into someone's hands could be incredibly important in the minutes after a serious injury.

Each kit contains essential equipment including:

- Trauma scissors
- A tourniquet for severe bleeding from limbs
- Gauzes to apply pressure to wounds
- Gloves
- Heavy-duty bleed-control bandages
- Emergency rescue blanket

Why does this matter?

Because when someone suffers a serious injury, time matters.

A major accident or criminal attack can cause severe bleeding, and an ambulance crew may be on their way but still have to navigate London's traffic.

We're not trying to replace the ambulance service. 999 always comes first.

We're trying to help give someone a fighting chance during those precious minutes before professional help arrives.

A bleed kit doesn't perform miracles. It does something much more important — it buys time.

And sometimes, buying those few extra minutes could mean the difference between someone having a chance and having no chance at all.

That's where the name 2ndChance comes from.

We want to put 320 more kits into the community.

320 more chances.

If you can spare £5, £10 or the full £25 it could make all the difference.

If you can't donate but still want to help sharing our posts and letting people know about what we do so there is more awareness, that is equally important and costs nothing.

Your share might reach someone who can help.

We funded the beginning because we believed it needed to happen.

Now we're asking our communites to help us keep it going.

£25 = one more emergency bleed kit on the streets.

Help us give someone a second chance.

Thank you. ❤️
