As a single mom, Shai Parks is a problem solver who handles it all. She and her son became unhoused and that did not stop her. So busy taking care of everyone and everything, she didn’t even realize she was having heart failure until she was forced to go to the hospital unable to breathe.

Shai is a dear friend and cherished member of our community. For her to continue to be there for her son, it is imperative that she rest. Please join me in a circle of care around her.

Funds will be used for living expenses for her two weeks of rest time, a deposit and first months rent on a safe and secure home, moving expenses, and medical bills.
